Bandaging!
I use tubigrip (the elasticated tubular bandage) double thickness - quick, light, warm, well fitting, easy to put on, and no risk of overtight bandages

Which bit is best for a teething 4yr old?
Bridle is fine, He has had his teeth checked and filed bridle he has got a new one as the old one had been stretched saddle checked, bit fits when he is been lunged with no aid but when an aid (pessoa) is attached it goes wonky He is unbalanced at the moment and he does need his back checking could that be causing it ?

Do I use a saddle pad?
I think of it as the 'pringles effect'.

Stirrup irons
I have a pair of swivel stirrups, they are light and feel spongy, I love them.

Balance rein
Hi - the Balance Rein really helps to balance the horse - hence its name - it enables the top line to lengthen and extend allowing the whithers and back to come up which also helps with hind limb engagement.

Which bit do I use?
I always find that problems compound, therefore I always go back to absolute basics, in order to identify the problem.

What bit size?
I'm quite interested in purchasing a Sprenger Dynamic bit myself, so have been looking at some online reviews recently.

Bitless riding?
I agree Fiona, BD don't split classes into loose-ring snaffle and double bridle (when you get up high enough to use them) for example.

I need some serious advice...
I am surprised that Wintec do not fit her as I have used them on many TB horses, it may be that she has unusual conformation if so I would recommend a saddle fitter PS if she is still growing I would keep to jump exercises over little poles as she will find it difficult to balance her frame at this stage.

Is Sprenger worth the money?
Quite difficult to respond to this Q, in general most peeps are happy with the bit they have, if not then the Q is, what do they want or need.

Boots, boots and more boots!
My background is in national hunt racing, ie jump racing: in any racing yard, all the front legs are checked daily before exercise and later, in the afternoon, this is a major responsibility, and it is usually the Head Lad who does this, it takes experience to know whether to step up the work, carry on with the work, to take it easy, or to lay off for a while.
