Hi...

I wonder if anyone can help me with this query?!?

I have a horse who's just coming back into work after a fractured pedal bone. I am aiming to take her to her 1st show early in August to attempt our 1st ridden hunter class! I believe that the horse should be shown in a double bridle but I also believe that there is an 'alternative' which is what the nice grey horse/pony is wearing on the front of the Horse & Hound this wk!

Does anyone know what these are called?!?!

I would like to purchase one as I feel I dont want the stress and expense of using/buying a full double bridle coz I'm not sure how successful my horse is going to be in the show ring or if she'll like a 'proper' double!!!

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Ailsa

It is called a show pelham and you can get them fairly easily on-line - just google it!
