i was wondering why Julie Tew is often on the incorrect diagnal especially when changing to the right...are there any technical reasons as to why you would ride both diagonals on both reins? Obviously she is a world class rider and her horses training speaks for itsself...many thanks and LOVE this website! I am now an addict...

I often ride on the 'wrong' diagonal on the right rein as my mare tends to fall out through the outside shoulder. It is a German technique to do with balance/weight distribution I think. Hope that's helpful
