What a great ambassador Laura is for equestrianism! There are few top people that cross the boundaries between eventing and dressage. Eventer, Ruth Edge, who was selected for the Olympics this year (but couldn't go as her horse was injured), is making an impression in the dressage world and has got a pure dressage horse in her string now. I understand Laura has been bitten by the eventing bug through helping NZ eventer, Dan Jocelyn. It has to be a good thing that skills cross between disciplines. Well done Laura!

I was even scared of the XC at my Pony Club B test and it was only about 3ft! I love to watch eventing though, it is amazing.
Go for it Laura- I'll watch with my feet firmly on the ground!

Well done Laura - taking a horse you don't know very well into an event that took you out of your comfort zone was very brave of you - and to have it all captured on video even braver! Of course well done to Silence who looked like he acted like a complete gentleman for you.
I'm sure the British Dressage Selectors breathed a huge sigh of relief when you finished the XC in one piece though!
