Being a teen myself, I was wondering about a teen/child zone - keeping a pony 'n' all, the site is amazing but money can be a problem for younger viewers of Horse Hero - how about some longer-full length videos that you don't have to pay for?

However these longer videos don't have to be as technical or classy - as not every child 'needs' to know how to extreme dressage moves on their 13.2h rides! - I understand there wil be the odd one, but still! Any thoughts or ideas?

Will think about this. Sorry but can't offer videos free though. It costs a lot to make them. How about asking someone to buy you a subscription gift voucher for your birthday or Xmas?

Can I enter a vote against this? Sorry - it's a really unappealing idea for me, but I admit it's a purely selfish point of view. I don't want you taking resources away from the "good stuff".

Purely selfish and I apologize but I'm not child-centric LOL, the opposite whatever that is!

It was just a suggestion! But i do understand how much effort Horse Hero puts in to make these videos... thankyou anyways.
L.O.L? Selfish? I would like to point out that I was thinking of others - not myself.

No I'm the one claiming, with some justification, to be selfish in not wanting kiddie stuff to take away from MY good videos! LOL and apologies to the children. I do like ponies though - you can't resist a cute pony face.

I think it is quite a good idea - pony keeping, moving onto horses from ponies - this could be intresting for parents also!

Well, I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want my kids (if I had any) to necessarily be watching the breeding videos!

Kids are better to learn the facts of life in a matter of fact way, though the video was detailed enough for most peeps!
I suggest you watch Sex Education on TV.... this will have you schooling your kids at home!
Rgarding parents learning about keeping ponies and upgrading to horses, I don't think this is the right site for that. Basic pony care is covered in all BHS yards, practical stuff, ie hands on is essential but on this site, we are looking to go to a higher level. I assume we know how to post on the correct diagonal, and can canter without flopping about all over the place, ie we assume our ridden abilities are no longer interfering with the pony.

I agree with Joallan – I believe that many problems are brought about by young people confusing the mechanics of sex with the emotions that sexual attraction and relationships cause. Do we really want our children to believe that foals are found under gooseberry bushes? Surely, by letting children of any age see mating, birth (and death) as completely natural, normal and necessary parts of life, we are providing them with factual knowledge which will allow them to better handle the emotions that sexual and other relationships will lead them to.
