I find watching the training videos very inspirational and seeing all the faboulus riders and lovelly horses is great.
However the most usefull part of these films is when things go wrong! Seeing how the riders and trainers cope when a horse spooks or hollows is far more helpfull to myself who competes at Aff Novice.
Could we please (pretty please) have more training items focusing on training an ordinary horse ie one who maybe hasn't been bred for the job or is an older horse who has never been schooled. The talented (or just well trained from backing) horses that you show all seem willing to offer so much, that the emphasis is (quite correctly) on taking things slowely. When you have a 15year old that is firmly stuck in Novice you need help fast!! I am sure featuring an ordinary rider with a horse like this would be simpler to film too! and if you are short of volunteers you know where I am!

Thanks for your suggestion. We do try to keep in things that go wrong but for now, I am the token gesture for amateur training as we simply can't film eveything! Also, filming with rider celebs isn't exhaustive but at a personal level, I have found something in every video we have made that has helped me either with my horse, my riding or horsemanship plus I've seen how the other half live and do it in the process, which is fascinating and allows me to dream the dream!
