DaisyHunter75 25 Oct 2010 What a dream! No hotel needed. Since I'm in the U.S.A., I recognize the travel arrangements that Bay Triangle mentioned. I'd love to see how that lorry drives.
poshpony 8 May 2010 Well I guess if you are No 4 in the world rankings you need a pretty fantastic lorry! Good luck to Laura and her horses, she has done great things for G.B dessage.
Bay Triangle 10 Apr 2010 That's fantastic. No hotel bills, so I suppose it might pay for itself, eventually. Such comfort for the horses, which is paramount, as far as I'm concerned. We have one horse who was frightened of loading or of just being confined - early in his life, and it's still an issue where he cannot stand waiting for the other horses to get on - he has to go on last, and he's fairly content when things are moving; he's probably be fine on this machine. This type of transport is not used in Canada (except maybe by Spruce Meadows) - it's always a truck/trailer combination, and I don't understand why. I have seen one - in a hunter/jumper barn, but it was pretty much parked in a field and stayed there. It must be because it's preferable to separate the truck from the trailer once it's parked at a show. You can get some very luxurious trailers with living accommodations, but they're either hauled with a large truck, or a heavy, rig-transport type truck. I don't own one myself - have 3 horses, but we usually hire a professional for moving because I don't want to have to buy a truck AND a trailer and insure both. Good video, very interesting.
Stressage 9 Aug 2009 I love the Nespresso machine in the kitchen area! A good test starts from a good coffee, ha ha ha!
Claireness 2 Mar 2009 I want one! Its like a camper-van for horse and human!
