Louise Skelton introduces us to Bit of a Barney and Partly Pickled, the home-bred and home-produced 4* brothers who set a record by competing together at Badminton '09, and tells us their amazing story. Louise has an unusual background as she is highly qualified academically and might have pursued a different career to horses if it hadn't been for a near fatal car accident. Told she may not walk again, Louise made a courageous plan from her bed in intensive care. Now cemented and pinned together, she tells Fiona Price that trust is the key ingredient eventing at top level, being so small and riding such big boys!
