Horse Hero's Fiona Price rides two of the four Woodlander horses short-listed from the trot up; Buddy Holly - a cute 3 year old only recently backed and the 7 year old Cuba Libra who is working at medium level. Buddy has been ridden around a dozen times and having never sat on such a green horse before, Fiona is shocked at how little he knows! For his part, Buddy, who has only been ridden by the super tall Carsten, is shocked at how short Fiona's legs are! They snake around the arena and Fiona just can't get that corner right! But he is gorgeous and it's all there for the future. By contrast, Cuba is a dream and Fiona has fun testing his gears!

elaine elliott 10 Jan 2011 Oh Fi ... soooo funny did you see him looking at your legs ,was wetting myself .... Cuba not right for you ... did not like the look of you on him and I think he needs some one with more energy in there ride ... if that makes sense .... Your a sensitive rider think he would take the mick when you got him home lol .... Love the 3 year old nice tempermant , it all felt very strange to him but he was still so cool with it .... balance good for his age up hill and look like he will be able to move !!!! Errrrmmmm ..... what ya goin to do ......ohhhhhhh lol Do agree think we need longer vids !!!!!

joallan 22 Aug 2010 I liked both , especially Buddy Holly, but lots of work required, several years in fact, also Cuba Libra has had a bereiter riding him for a long time, you can't buy that, well you can but it is expensive, but also i would imagine all the horses are different prices. I think you could only select BH if you were available to work on him every day and were willing to wait forever, but CL would be easier to manage as he knows so much already.

Theresa 22 Aug 2010 Fiona, I'm around your size, and when I first got on my 17-hand horse, he turned around to look at my legs as well. Then, he gently grabbed one of my feet with his mouth and shook it I think to see if it was for real. Looking forward to the rest of the video series!

Merlin1997 21 Aug 2010 Have you made a decision yet, Fiona? Not wanting to know which if you have as it would spoil the suspense, just curious!? You must have felt like a kid in a sweetie shop, what a hard life, eh? Cant wait for the next video!
