About this video

Fiona Price interviews Italian Olympian Susanna Bordone and top British riders Lucy Wiegersma, Sharon Hunt and Sarah Cohen in the lorry park at Highclere where they are contesting the Advanced class. Lucy, who is first reserve for WEG, explains how sleeping helps her prepare for cross country. After several setbacks with her top mares, Susanna says she focuses on the big picture. She also explains the difference in her mental preparation for dressage and eventing, as she will do both at WEG. Sarah Cohen describes how motherhood knocked her confidence at first, and Sharon Hunt explains how working with a sports psychologist helped!

eventlover 2 Dec 2010 Very interesting to get into the heads and thought processes of these top riders. Their ways of planning and preparing for their competitions will give enormous food for thought to young and up and coming riders. Well done ladies!
