Quick, easy & cheap ways of doing things
the onions wont be there long if in reach of the horse, they love to eat them, still, at least they will have onion breath and that may help keep flys away!

Haylage makes them wee alot if you buy ryegrass which is really to rich for horses, is normally used for racehorses/ top copetition horses.

Tips when riding your horse bareback
Riding bareback is an excellent exercise for the rider and, for those of us of a ‘certain’ age, something we spent hours doing when we were younger – it is so much easier to ride your horse in from the field in his headcollar than to actually walk beside him.

Underwear for riding
i find that ladies cycling briefs as sold in low cost supermarkets do pretty well, though they are often black, and not great for wearng all day.
