Winter is upon us so I thought it would be great if we could all share our best tips for surviving until the spring!

Mine would be to invest in good wet weather gear, waterproof chaps can be used for yardwork & riding in. Also have lots & lots of haynets so you can fill them at the weekend.

After seeing Laura ride with a sheepskin cover on her saddle pad in her videos last year, I decided to buy one and wow! Is it ever amazing! Not only does it just feel nice under, it really does keep your bottom nice and warm! It also adds a little more stick too ;o) I was worried it might make the saddle more slippery but haven't had that problem!

I think for this year I will finally invest in a pair of winter riding breeches, or two. I don't know how I've gone this long (I'm live in Canada) without them!
