Road safety is an issue of increasing concern for all horse owners and riders. Drivers seem to have less horse sense than ever, or is it that more city folk are migrating the countryside with virtually no experience of horses. What's your take on this subject? Is there anything that can be done at a practical level? Also, post your comments here on rider safety.

Wearing a hat straw poll
I think that one has to distinguish between public and private land areas, riding in from a field on your own horse to his stable is different to riding bareback with a halter on a main road.

I like the idea of having a card in the lorry windscreen at an event with your name and number on it - will do that as of now!
