About this video

We meet some fabulous dressage stallions at the Hartpury Stallion Parade and talk to the experts. Wavavoom, owned by Lynne Crowden, was the first British bred Hanoverian stallion to be licensed in Germany. Bereiter Carsten Sandrock demonstrates how to show him off in hand and Lynne talks to Fiona Price about the future of British breeding. Gill Clothier introduces us to her gorgeous palomino Treliver Decanter and explains the mysteries of the cream gene. Jennie Loriston-Clarke, grande dame of British dressage, tells us how horses have changed and diminutive Fiona Foy talks about why she loves Spanish stallions.

LADISLAO 29 Dec 2010 A good example of what PRE ( Pura Raza EspaƱola ) horses can do on dressage is what FUEGO XII has done in Kentucky WEG. The judges? Well my dear "friends" we are in XXI century, the judges will have to change, and if it is possible , quickly. And please, be fair when you give the scores, as some judges seem to work for certain breeds of horses!
mariamarquise 22 Dec 2010 Superb interviews!
Diana 4 May 2010 Fabulous video. My first dressage horse, Whitehouse Double Dutch was by Dutch Gold out of Whitehouse Elizabeth (British show pony).
NATALIEGEE 26 Apr 2010 Way to go Fiona, I hope to train my very special Spainsh horse with you soon. Treliver is a beautiful horse with alot of quality.
The White Horse 23 Apr 2010 Great to see Fulminante-Cen and Fiona Foy flying the flag for the Pure Bred Spanish Horse and proving that it is not only the Dutch and German bloodlines that are the only thing out there (although I would NEVER deny that the likes of Treliver Decanter et al are super stunning and have jaw dropping movement!). The Spanish are really pushing hard to breed a "Modern Sports Horse" to rival other European countries and it is so exciting to finally see the Spanish Horse beginning to get the recognition it so truly deserves!
