Thank you to all which are reading this, I am thankfully grateful that you are willing to help me out. So this is the first time I've had two horses of my own and as winter is on the approch I've got to be ready.
I was just wondering what my 15hh cob would need. He's exercised every day for at least an hour and max could be all day rides specially in the weekends! But winter probably alot less depending! Anyway I'm hoping to do alot of eventing/competition/shows. What would he generally need? I want to make sure his diet is best that I can make it that he doesnt get to fat and not to full of energy but to make sure he's at correct weight and has a little bit of energy for the next ride but not to make him to fizzy.
Also ..... I have a 14.3 hh Sport horse and I was wondering what he should be fed, I have just been feeding him pony nuts and chaff but is that enough for a horse that is being worked every day?
I'm truly grateful for you reading this! I do know what I should be feeding but I wanted ressurance that I am making my horses healthy and not doing something wrong. I have nine years of experience but its always best to be ressured that I am doing this correctly and the best way possible. Hannah.

Are either of your horses losing weight? Are they putting on weight? Are they too thin or too fat? If the answer to these questions is yes then you are not feeding the right amount of food.
Do your horses have enough energy to do what you want? If so the food is right.
If you need to change the diet the best thing to do is work out how much each horse weighs (use a weighband) then ring the free advice line provided by all the main food manufacturers and ask their advice. They will help you to devise the best diet for each horse.
